Tabernus now offers customizable or brandable reporting capability in its Enterprise Erase Array and Enterprise Erase LAN software packages. This reporting functionality enables clients to not only create erasure reports for all hard disk drives erased, but also to import their own logo into the report. And a special feature that updates the report as you go so if a client needs to stop the process, no report information about the erased drives is lost.
“We find that a lot of our clients really like to be able to supply erasure reports branded with their company logo” states Kevin Enders, Product Director for Enterprise Erase Array. “It’s particularly a big hit with clients that provide on-site data elimination services to their clients. Its a effective extra that serves to strengthen the relationship between our client and their client typically. ”
The Tabernus reporting system creates PDF reports that include all drives erased in a session. One unique feature of the Tabernus reporting system is that it appends this PDF after each drive is erased, instead of waiting until all drives in the session are erased to create the PDF.
Enders explains “We want our clients to be able to abort an erasure session at any time without losing all of the report information for the drives that have finished. What if you’re erasing 200 drives at a time, and you have to abort for some reason before they all finish. You should not lose the reports for the drives that have finished.”
The Tabernus reporting system not only provides clients with a PDF record of all erasures, but creates redundant .csv and .txt versions of the erasure reports.
